Creativity is as important as Literacy

All children are born artists.  We don’t grow into creativity, we grow out of it. Look at children, they are not afraid to make mistakes, they are not afraid to take a chance.  As we grow up and adhere to the Educational System, we learn that the worst thing we can do is to make a mistake.  Mistakes are the worst thing you can do.  However, if you are not prepared to be wrong, you will never come up with something original. All parents, creative human beings and teachers should watch the video that follows. Ken Robinson is a PhD scholar and what a speaker!  Ken will make you laugh but most of all, he will make you want to protect your children and yourself from the Actual Educational System and do anything in your power to keep your creativity going.
